As I close this diary, I do so with a sense of hope. Not just for a better future for Akira and me, but also for the strength I've found within myself. I don't know what tomorrow brings. I don't know if our circumstances will change or if we'll find a way out of this life. But I do know that I am ready. I am ready to face whatever comes next, as long as I have Akira by my side.
