The riverbeds are dry, and the waterfalls are absent. The only respite is the artificial "Summer Falls," where water is pumped to create a small cascade for tourists. This is a poor substitute for the real thing. The primary reason to visit in summer is to avoid crowds and secure cheap accommodation, but this benefit comes at the cost of missing the entire raison d'être of Courtallam.
